FAQ
Model probabilities, fair odds, value flags. Logged before kick-off, never edited. You decide from the record, not from a feeling. Every pick stays on the page, won or lost.
Each table puts first the line the bookmakers price for this match: the one that 3 or more of them price ("6 bookmakers" under it), with the model chance for that line, the odds, the fair odds and the edge. Some matches have no 2.5 price at all, only 3.5. The other lines open with "5 more lines"; a line with no price shows "–", never a made-up price. Goals chances come from our score grid; cards and corners from their own model, which has a number only for its usual lines.
Each section ends with a grey line that says where our data for it starts. Scores go back to 2022 in most leagues; match stats (shots, corners, cards), player numbers and referees start in August 2024. Coaches go back to 2022 too. When we fill older data, the lines change by themselves. Head-to-head goes further back for Pro: up to 15 years, the older meetings from API-Football (its line says so).
KickValue does not take bets and is not a bookmaker. Our numbers are analysis, not betting advice. You cannot bet here and we never touch your money. KickValue shows probabilities, fair odds and where the model disagrees with the bookmakers (on 5 seasons of past odds, the bookmakers were right more often). You place the bet yourself, at a licensed operator.
No, and nobody can. Tested on 5 seasons of real odds, following every pick would have lost 10.5%. The picks stay public as a test, not as tips; losing runs happen. Every pick, won or lost, is on the public track record.
A bet the model flagged as value and logged before kick-off: match, market, odds at that moment, model chance and edge. It is never edited. After the match it is settled: won, lost or void.
A logged pick is frozen at the moment the robot wrote it (odds and edge of that moment) and it counts in the record. The numbers (today's odds on Picks, and Other edges on a match page) use today's odds and the latest model run, so they move. A market can show a gap today and not be a logged pick, because the gap appeared after the robot passed.
Player prices (shots, shots on target, to score, cards, assists) come from US bookmakers, for the top-5 leagues only, and show one side only: "1+ shots @ 2.45" but never the "no". So the market chance is 1 ÷ odds with the bookmaker margin left in, which makes the edge a little smaller than the real one. A line is logged as a pick only when 2 or more bookmakers price it; lines with one bookmaker show on the match page as player edges, not logged. The player model was tested for accuracy, never against past odds, so these picks are judged on the live record. A player who does not play makes the pick void.
The main numbers are the logged ones: the odds, chance and edge when the pick was written, before kick-off. They never change and they count in the Record. Before kick-off, when today's odds or edge have moved, the card adds one line, "Now: odds 2.38 · edge +2.3", the same numbers the Picks list shows with . When the price moved before the pick was logged, the card also names the opening price ("Opening 2.30 · 9 Oct"), like the first row of the box on the match page. The card follows your theme: light or dark, as you see the site.
Because we said we would show everything, wins and losses. We tested the model on 5 seasons of real odds (2021–2026, 11,219 picks): -10.5%, every season, every league, every odds band. The picks stay, logged before kick-off and never edited, as a public test. What is useful is around them: the odds, the line-ups, the alerts, the record, and My bets with your own CLV.
Changes: the model chance (recomputed three times a day with new results), the bookmaker odds, the edge between them, and the Other edges list on a match page. All of that is a live view. Never changes: a logged pick, meaning its odds, chance and edge of that moment (shown with from kick-off on), the time it was logged, and its result 72 hours after it settles (before that a late correction from the data feed may still change it, marked "corrected": see "Can a result change?"). The database refuses edits on picks. marks a logged pick. Same model, same numbers: the pin only says it was written down before kick-off and counts in the record.
Removed on 21 September 2026. A stake suggestion only makes sense if the model chance is right, and the 5-season backtest says it is not. "I took it" logs 1 unit; change it in My bets if you want. The Learn course still explains units, Kelly and bankroll, because they matter for your own bets.
Model chance minus the chance implied by the bookmaker's odds, in points. Edge +5 means the model sees 5 points more chance than the market. On 5 seasons of past odds, no edge size made money: the bigger the edge, the bigger the loss. A very big edge often means news the model does not know (an injury, a rotated team).
Because they measure two different things. Fair odds are 1 divided by the model chance. Edge compares the model chance with the bookmakers' chance after their margin is removed. The margin can be bigger than the edge: at odds 1.85 with fair odds 1.86, the model sees more chance than the market (edge +3.2), but the price still pays a little less than the model thinks it is worth. If you follow a pick yourself, look for odds above the fair odds.
Closing Line Value: were the odds we took better than the last odds before kick-off? Bookmakers' closing odds are very accurate. Beating them regularly is the strongest sign of a real edge, long before profit shows it. Honest note: our closing price is the last price we saw before kick-off: about 10 min before on matches with a model pick (since 23 Oct 2026; on average about 4 hours before until then), not the price at the whistle.
A result shows the number that decided the bet. Score bets (1X2, goals, both teams to score) show the score ("won · 4-2"); a cards line shows the cards (yellow + red), a corners line the corners, a first-half bet the half-time score ("HT 1-0"), a team's goals that team's goals, a player line the player's number ("won · 3 shots", or "did not play": the bet is void). A – means we do not have that number yet; it is never shown as 0. During the match the live pill does the same: "live · 5 corners · 67'" for a corners pick.
1% of your bankroll (the money you set aside for betting). All picks are 1 unit. With a bankroll of 1,000, a unit is 10. Results in units mean the same for everybody.
28 club leagues: the big 5 (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1), plus Primeira Liga, Eredivisie, the Swiss Super League, Turkey's Süper Lig, the Saudi Pro League, Brazil's Série A and Série B, Japan's J1 League, England's Championship, League One and League Two, Italy's Serie B, Germany's 2. Bundesliga, France's Ligue 2, Spain's Segunda División, the Scottish Premiership, MLS, and the top leagues of Austria, Denmark, Greece, Norway, Poland and Sweden. 6 club cups: the 3 UEFA cups (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League), England's EFL Cup, Germany's DFB-Pokal and the Copa Sudamericana: match data and bookmaker prices (result and goals), no model picks yet (teams from different leagues meet). Other cups (FA Cup, Copa del Rey...) and the big national-team tournaments come on when their next round has matches and prices. National-team competitions (for example the Nations League and the Africa Cup qualifiers) show match data, a table per group (live while matches run), and bookmaker prices when a bookmaker offers them, with no model. More are added over time. The newer leagues have result and goals odds; corners and half markets there come from API-Football (its own source, never mixed with the others); cards and players odds are for the big 5. Markets: match result, goals over/under, both teams to score, corners, cards, and player markets (shots, shots on target, cards, assists, to score). The bet builder adds more (handicaps, halves, exact goals, team corners/cards).
From The Odds API, the median of many bookmakers (the market), not the best price. One bookmaker per brand: a brand's country sites count once, at their best price. Our prices are snapshots (read a few times a day), so every price says when we read it ("prices from 12:03") and we name no bookmaker: check the price at your own bookmaker. Some national competitions are not covered by The Odds API, for example the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Cabo Verde. Their prices come from API-Football, with the same median. The match page says so. Their picks get their own line on Record and never mix with the club numbers. We never link to, promote or scrape bookmakers. Swiss users: Jouez Sport and Sporttip are the licensed operators.
Read the match page (probabilities, odds, line-ups, missing players, referee). Do not bet a pick because the model says so. Bet small, flat units, only when you have your own reason. Write your bets in My bets and read your CLV after 50 bets: above 0 means you beat the closing odds.
Often because the model was wrong, not unlucky. The bookmaker's price already holds what everyone knows (a team in form, a side that scores a lot); a big gap usually means our model misses it. In 5 past seasons the bigger the edge, the bigger the loss: 3 to 5 points lost 7.7%, 12 and more lost 15.6%. So picks with an edge of 10 or more carry far from the market. And a 40% chance loses 60% of the time anyway. None is proven yet.
Only the cards. His card rate over his past matches, against his league's average, moves the expected cards of his match: about ×0.85 for a soft referee, ×1.1 for a strict one, counted at 70% of its size, and only once he has 5+ matches. On 4,315 past matches it made the card numbers about 1% more accurate. That is accuracy, not a winning edge: the bookmakers know the referee too.
The AI preview is written once, about a day and a half before the match, and never rewritten. Under its title it says when it was written and the 1 X 2 prices it saw then; a line under the text shows the ones that moved since. New previews quote at most one price (a logged pick's price) and say the rest in words. A logged pick before kick-off shows both prices: Logged @ 4.50 · now 4.80 ▲. The one is what counts in the Record.
Our data feed sends the referee and the team sheets at kick-off, not days before. Until then the match page shows each team's current coach, marked as such, and a line saying the referee is not announced yet. Once the feed sends them, the full blocks appear: the referee with his strictness score and what each team took with him, and the coaches with their form score.
From our own site, no app store: open kickvalue.com/install. On Android one tap installs it (or menu ⋮ → Install app); on iPhone, Safari, Chrome or Firefox → Share → Add to Home Screen. The page has the exact taps for each browser. Then tap the bell to turn on alerts: on iPhone they only work in the installed app.
Turn on notifications on this device from the bell. Three sets: your favourite teams (a new model pick, a key player missing at line-ups, a strict referee 48 h before), you (your bet: an alert when its state changes, such as won already, lost, winning or losing again, and a summary at half-time; then settled, when our robot settles it, not when you set it yourself), everyone (morning digest, Monday summary). Match events (goals, corners, cards, line-ups, kick-off, half-time, final) come only from the box on a match page: tap the bell there and tick what you want. The half-time and final alerts give the match in numbers (shots, corners, cards, possession). A favourite team alone sends no goal alerts; that keeps the phone calm. A match you follow with its sends none either: it only keeps the match in Favourites and in Matches › Filters › Favourites. A favourite player is the exception: if he starts, is on the bench or is not in the squad, his goals, assists and cards, a penalty he misses (a goalkeeper: a penalty against him that is not scored), and when he comes on or goes off. One switch, "Your favourite players" in the bell's alert settings, turns all of these off. Alerts show in the language of the site (EN, FR, PT); each one carries a small type chip. A tap on an alert opens the exact spot it is about (the section, the pick, the bet, the day summary), lit up for a moment.
Yes, before kick-off. On a match page, open Price alert (Before tab), pick the result, goals over/under or both teams to score, and type the odds you want. You get one alert when a bookmaker we list reaches them. We never name or link a bookmaker, prices move, and you check and decide yourself. Your alerts are listed on the Alerts page; remove one with its .
When both line-ups are in, we look at each team's two best goal-and-assist players over its last 8 matches. If one is on the bench or not in the squad, a pick or bet that depends on that team shows an amber line (and you get an alert for a bet you have placed). It is information, not advice: a team can score without him, and the market already knows.
Pro, once both line-ups are out (about 1 h before kick-off): the model's home / draw / away chances moved for who starts. A team that rests its regulars scores a little less and its opponent a little more. In a test on 8,067 past matches these chances were a little more accurate than the plain model (about 0.25 %); the same test with the line-ups shuffled between teams did worse, so the gain is not a trick of the method. It is not an edge: bookmakers know the line-ups too, often before us. Goals markets get no line-up number (the test found no clear gain there), and logged picks never change. The same number shows on the match page (Line-ups), on an open result bet in My bets and on a result leg in your slip.
On the match page (Deep dive): Man Utd at home against teams in the form Tottenham has now, and Tottenham away against teams in Man Utd's form (points per game in the last 6 matches, within half a point, last 2 seasons). Each team's own matches, never other teams'. It shows W D L, goals per match and how many matches; under 5 it says there are too few. The past is not a promise.
From kick-off every count on a match page (trends like "scored in 5 of 7", form, players, coaches, referee, head-to-head) stays as it was before the match, and a grey line says "Numbers before this match". If a player then scores, his line stays 5 of 7 on that page, so you can still see the chance you had. His own page and the team page do count the new match.
Yes. On Favourites, "Add to calendar": download a file of your favourite teams' coming matches, or copy a subscription link into your calendar app (new matches and changed kick-off times then arrive by themselves). The link is private: anyone with it sees your teams' match times, so "New link" replaces it and the old one stops. One match: the next to Share on its page opens a menu: Apple Calendar (iPhone, Mac) and Google Calendar (Android) add it in one tap, Outlook too, or download the file for another app.
Because of something you follow: a small tag under the match says what. My team, a player of yours, your coach (the team he leads now), your referee (named for that match), My league, a match you follow with its own ; a match can have several. A referee is usually named a few days before kick-off, so a referee you follow can have no match yet: the page then names him in one line. Follow a coach or a referee with the on his page. Tap a tag to see the list: your players with their team, your coach and the referee, each a link; the tag names the most important player first (a starter before a sub, then most minutes).
Pro, on Favourites and Home: a match you follow whose last matches went one way much more often than usual (a bet in at least 8 of the last 10; goals, corners and cards count both teams' last 10 together) shows that run with today's middle price of the bet and when we read it, the same number as Trends; when our model is clearly below the price. The day bar puts a dot under each day with such a match. No line = nothing stands out. The past, not a prediction: it says what happened, never what will.
Tap the by its name in any list or on the team page. On a match page, the Follow menu at the top lists this match and both teams ( Follow Feyenoord / Following Feyenoord): one tap follows or unfollows each, and the by the name shows or goes at once. In match rows the shows only for a team you follow.
Your favourites' matches today that are not over yet: the matches of your teams, your players' and coaches' teams, the matches you follow with their own and your referees. The Favourites block on Matches shows at most 4 of them; when there are more, "3 more today →" under it opens Favourites, like the . It turns red while one of them is live and disappears when they are all over; on a day without them there is no number. Tap the to open Favourites.
Up to three plain observations about your own bets: which kind of market works better for you, whether your price beat the closing price on the picks you took, and whether your last 5 bets are at longer odds than usual. Each shows how many bets it rests on. They appear from 8 to 15 bets, they can be luck, and they describe, they do not advise.
On My bets (Pro), per match with open bets: what you win or lose if the home side wins, if it is a draw, or if the away side wins, in units and in your money, for example "Arsenal win +2.20 u (+22 CHF) · draw −2.00 u · Chelsea win −2.00 u". Only bets the result alone decides count (match result, double chance, draw no bet); other bets on the match are listed apart with the most they can lose. Information, not advice.
Yes, with Pro. On Picks, Record and My bets, set a filter, then tap + Save this filter and give it a name: it shows as a chip above the list and opens again in one tap, on any day ( removes it; up to 10 per list). My bets and Record each have a CSV button that downloads the whole list for Excel.
Yes, with Pro: My live alerts (linked on Live and in the bell's settings). Up to 5 rules, for example "from 60', 0-0, home shots 10+": from a minute, a score (0-0, level, one goal apart or any), and if you want one number (shots, shots on target or corners) for the home side, the away side, either team or both together, on your favourite teams or all matches. Checked every minute during matches; one alert per rule and match; a missing number sends nothing. Information, not advice.
Yes, with Pro: the Trends page, Players tab, Model chance view (the old Player screener; Explore › Players links to it with Player trends →). Pick a market (shots, shots on target, goals, assists, card, tackles, fouls), a line (1+, 2+…), a minimum chance and the next 1, 2 or 3 days: you get every player in club matches whose model chance is at least that, highest first, with the fair odds, and today's price when a bookmaker prices the line (most player lines have none). Players marked out are left out, doubtful ones are marked. These are the model's numbers: compare them with the price yourself.
Yes, with Pro: the Rule backtester (link on Record). Choose a league, seasons, what to bet on (home win, draw, away win, over or under 2.5 goals) and an odds range: it bets one unit on every past match that fits, at the closing price of the bookmakers' average, and shows the result in one line, then season by season. Under it, the luck test: under 100 bets anything can be luck, and a result inside what luck gives is called likely luck. Past seasons never promise the next one. Past results and closing odds: Football-Data.co.uk.
Accounts are by invitation only. Every new account starts with 7 days of Pro, the full app; the line "Pro trial · N days left" at the top of the page counts down. There are two levels. Entry: everything before the match (model picks, fair odds, full match pages, My bets with stop-loss, favourite alerts, search, share cards, Learn). Pro adds player picks, the model's chance per leg in the bet builder, smart alerts, best price, your patterns (CLV, ROI by market), CSV export and older head-to-head. A Pro part shows a small card "Pro feature" on Entry. Payments are not open yet: friends keep Entry free after the trial; for others access stops until plans open. The calibration page, the FAQ and the responsible-gambling page stay open to everyone. One account = one person, one device (the owner excepted): a login on a second device logs the first one out at its next tap. 18+ only. Play safe: if betting stops being fun, get help (Responsible gambling page).
Yes: Pick alerts, linked on Picks and in the bell's settings. By default you get one summary per robot run (at most 3 a day) of the new picks on your favourite teams. Pro can choose all matches, each pick on its own, the markets and a minimum edge (+3, +5 or +8). Off stops pick alerts and the morning "Best value today". There is never a pick alert in the last 30 minutes before kick-off, your quiet hours count, and after 10 single alerts in a day the rest come in the summary.
Five, all about bets you logged in My bets. Stop-loss: when your drop from your best point reaches 80 % of your own stop-loss, and again when it reaches it (for everyone, it cannot be switched off). 30 minutes before kick-off: one note per bet, line-ups out or not and any key attacker not starting. Alerts of the same moment become one on your phone: a goal, then a VAR check a minute later, show as one notification that names both. Pro: "Edge gone" when a bet that follows a model pick has a negative edge at today's price, before kick-off. Pro also gets "Better price now": when a bookmaker we list offers at least 3 % more than the price you took, before kick-off (the bookmaker is never named). Pro also gets the line-up check on a player bet: once the line-ups are out, whether your player starts, is on the bench or is not in the squad, with his hit rate for that line in his recent matches ("2+ shots in 7/10 recent matches": a fact, not a chance). Information, never advice.
From our robots, written from our own data only: each result with the chance the model gave what happened before kick-off ( when it was its most likely outcome; national matches have no model, so only the score), or the model pick of that match with its logged price and its result in units; new model picks; streaks; a team up into the top 4; line-ups with the key attackers not starting; regulars out or back; the referee with his cards a match; big price drops (the middle price of all bookmakers, never a bookmaker's name). Each row shows its match's time (kick-off, the minute while it is played, or FT), never when the robot wrote it. A match postponed, cancelled or abandoned says so in Results, with our void pick, your void bets (stake back) and the new date when known. Each line carries the ONE fact that stands out (the referee's cards against the league, a key player's share of the goals, why a price fell, the model against the price). Matches shows one line per section (Picks, Price drops, Line-ups, Results, Referees) with how many are still to come and the best one; a tap opens that tab in News: the last 30 days, the newest news first as on a news site (the sort menu also offers Soonest match and Latest match), Favourites in Filters for only your teams, the time the news came out and a dot for news since your last visit. Pre-match news of a match that has kicked off moves to "Earlier, before kick-off". Price drops need Pro. A tap opens the news item's own page with the full report and links to the match. Facts, not advice.
Each news line opens its own page (a link you can share with a logged-in friend; it stays a year): the match card with the 1 X 2 prices and when we read them, then the full report. Line 1 is the match and its kick-off, line 2 what happened, then the facts for that match: for a referee his last 10 matches (cards a match against the league, red cards, penalties from the matches we have minute-by-minute events for), both teams with him and the player he books most ("Joelinton: a card in 4 of 4 matches with him"); for line-ups and injuries each player's share of his team's goals; for a price drop how much it moved, the price now with its time and the known reason; for a pick the model against the price and the facts behind it; for a result the chance we gave it, red cards and penalties. The strongest fact is marked Pay attention. Counts, never a percent of a few matches; numbers stop at kick-off; never a tip. The links open the exact block on the match page, the referee page or the player's page; Back returns to the same row of the list.
The News list shows the last 30 days. Each news page stays a year: search a team, a player or a referee in the filter window and older news shows up too. The filters (kind of news, competition, search) are the same window as on Picks.
Because a wall of numbers does not help you bet: information does. We check thousands of numbers for every match (runs, halves, meetings, referees, missing players, prices) and show only what stands out: a fact far from the league's usual, with a minimum number of matches, its count ("in 9 of 10") and today's price of the bet it touches, at most 5 on a match page, strongest first. We tested each kind on 7 past seasons and dropped the ones that told nothing (rest days, for one). The price often knows the fact already: when our model is below the price, the line says so. Information, never a tip. The full numbers stay one tap away (Deep dive, Trends).
See for yourself on the Calibration page (footer, open to everyone, no login): every settled model pick in bands of 10 points, what we said before kick-off against how often it happened, next to what the closing price said. Filter by league and season; a band under 30 picks is marked "few picks". Record and Calibration also show our worst run so far: the longest run of losses in a row and the deepest drop from a peak, in units.
Longer than most people think. The losing-streak simulator (on Learn, and in My bets › Bankroll settings, started from your own average odds) gives the chance of a run of N losses in a row over a number of bets. At odds 2.00, over 200 bets, 8 losses in a row happen about 1 time in 3, even when every bet is priced fairly. Set your stop-loss with that in mind.
Where your bet stands now, in the same words as the alerts: on track, already won (green), already lost (red), needs 2 goals, in danger (no more goals allowed), or 2 of 3 legs on track for a combo. It never says won during the match: the result comes when the bet settles after full time.
Write to hello@kickvalue.com. We answer within 48 hours. Tell us what you did, what you expected, the page and your device; a screenshot helps. With an account, Send feedback in the app adds the page for you and shows our answer there. Everything is on kickvalue.com/contact (Contact and help, in the footer). We are also on Instagram, X, YouTube and TikTok as @kickvalueapp: short videos of the app and the weekly record, losses included. The links are at the bottom of every page.
Each number next to a choice counts what the OTHER filters you set leave. Tick Favourites and a competition shows only your favourite teams' matches there; set odds 1.80 to 3.00 and every number counts inside that range. The Show button gives the exact total for your mix. Sorts work both ways on every list and every screen size: pick what to sort by, then the Order (↓ biggest first, ↑ smallest first); a tap on a table column does the same, a second tap turns it. On cards, a match with 2 or more picks is one card, placed by its best value. A choice at 0 is not listed at all (one you ticked stays, so you can untick it).
Every list with leagues works the same way: the chips are the quick way to pick a league (tap a second one to add it, tap a chosen one to remove it), the funnel button holds everything else. They always agree: a league ticked in the Filters window lights its chip.
Yes, gently. On My bets, a card shows what you staked this month. You can set a monthly limit of your own (optional) and the card reminds you when you get close and when you reach it. If bets come fast after a loss, it says so. It only reminds you, never blocks you, and links to the Responsible gambling page.
The median bookmaker price for your bet has moved by 3% or more since you took it, for example 2.10 → 1.95. A shorter price means the market now rates it more likely; a longer one, less likely. It is information, not advice. The alert has one switch in the bell.
A name (team, player, league, coach, referee; nicknames work) or a short question: "bundesliga picks this week", "corners picks tomorrow", "picks this week match result", "benfica today", "haaland shots". It also knows more days (yesterday, Saturday, Sunday, last week), number ranges ("picks odds over 2", "picks edge above 5", "picks chance above 60%"), the track record ("serie a record last week"; the picks of a past day are on Record) and your own pages ("my bets yesterday", "favourites", "live now"). It also knows the weekend, any weekday and the next round ("picks this weekend", "picks friday"), yesterday's results, odds between two numbers ("picks odds between 1.5 and 2.5"), a market on its own opens its picks ("over 2.5 tonight", "btts premier league", "corners tonight", "player shots tonight"), the record this month or for one market ("record this month", "record over 2.5"), a league table ("bundesliga table") and a team's next match, missing players or referee ("benfica next match"). After 3 letters, suggestions show under the box ("bund" gives Bundesliga · picks this week · table · record): tap one, or use the arrows and Enter. Under the empty box, examples to try sit next to your recent searches. A search for a period ("picks this weekend", "record this month") opens the list with that period chosen in Filters › Period and shown as a chip under the day bar. The card on top answers at once ("Bundesliga · Next 7 days: 5 picks · biggest edge +8.2") and shows what we understood as chips: tap × on a chip to ask again without it. Words we do not know are named, small typos still match ("bundeslida"), and when there is nothing, it says so and gives the next date. The page it opens is already filtered to exactly what you asked. It counts our numbers; it is not advice.
On the Picks page, in the Record tab. Picks has two tabs under the same top: Upcoming (the picks not started yet, with today's odds and I took it) and Record (every pick from its kick-off on, with the numbers logged before , the result, units, CLV, the charts and the health check). A pick moves from one to the other at kick-off. While the match is played, its Record card keeps I took it and Share, until the final whistle. Old /record links open the Record tab.
One plain line from our own numbers, no AI: the model's chance (the one logged with the pick), the chance the price says without the bookmaker's margin, then up to 2 facts that back the pick and that we have for this match: goals a game at this venue, wins or losses in the last 5 at this venue, days of rest, players missing, the goals we expect. A fact we lack is left out, never guessed. Tap the line for the full numbers. No line on UEFA cups and national matches: no model there. It explains a pick, it does not make it more likely.
On the bet builder (Pro): the 2- and 3-leg builders of that match where the bookmakers keep the least. Each leg carries a margin and a builder's margin grows with every leg (two legs at 5 % make 10.25 %). A smaller margin means the bookmaker takes less of your stake; it does not mean the builder wins more often. The odds shown are the legs' prices multiplied: your bookmaker prices its own builder and can pay less. Only legs with a real price are used.
Yes: More › Calculator. Type a stake and the odds of each leg (2.50, 3/2 or +150): one leg is a single, 2 to 10 legs a combo, whose odds are the legs' odds multiplied. It shows the returns and the profit, and converts odds between decimal, fractional and American. With Pro, a match page also shows the most likely scores and Asian handicap fair odds, and the bet builder shows the bookmakers' margin per market.
Not in our test. Trends › Record locks every trend we show before kick-off, with the price of the same bet, and marks it won or lost after the match: the tiles say how often the next match hit, what the price said, and the units and ROI of 1 unit on each at its locked price. On 53,330 past matches (Past seasons, rebuilt), strong runs hit what the price said. A past run is not a chance.
Because a trend on the Upcoming lists starts at 60 %, the record shows the same by default. The log keeps every trend from 50 % (it never changes), so Filters › Hit rate band shows the 50–59 % ones too, or only them: the count, tiles and graph follow, and you can see whether stronger runs win more.
Our model's chance for that exact bet is above the chance its middle price gives (the Edge above 0). Next to it: how often that kind of bet won on Trends › Record when our model agreed before kick-off, as one number with its count; with few bets it says they can be luck. It shows on Trends and on the match page trend chips, never on national matches (no model there). Past results are no promise.
Our odds feed has no bookmaker price for some lines: goals in one half and a team to score in a half outside the big 5 (the big 5 have them since 23 Oct 2026), a team to score only in the 2nd half, cards or corners per team and some card and corner lines. Outside the big 5, corners and half lines have prices from API-Football on the Trends page, but the record never uses them (one record, one price source). We judge those trends on came true only, and they never count in the units. Trends › Record shows the locked odds on every line that had them (Full adds the time we read them), and the filter With odds only keeps just those.
Because one line = one bet. When both teams of a match showed Over 2.5, that is the same bet (the match total, the same odds, the same result), so Trends › Record shows it once, with both teams' runs, and counts it once in every number. A team bet (to win, clean sheet, to score in a half) stays one line per team. Each Record shows one bet and one window at a time, like Upcoming: change them in Filters. Teams and Players each have Upcoming | Record; the old Record tab opens Teams › Record.
They are one list now: Model chance and Hit rates were two ways to sort the same players. Each row shows the run ("8 of his last 10"), the next match, the odds or "No odds yet" with their time, our model chance, and the edge (our model − the odds) when both are there. Sorted by is the Picks menu: Trend v odds first (the run against the odds, in points), then Edge, Hit rate, Model chance, Kick-off and Odds, each one way or the other; each row shows one number, the sort's own. Filters starts with Search and has sliders for Hit rate, Trend v odds, Edge, Model chance and Odds, then Favourites and With odds, on the Teams tab too. Old links still open the list.
On Trends › Teams and Players a league means the league of the match shown on the row: the team's next match (its time is on the row), never a league the team played in before. A team whose next match is in another competition shows under that one, and a team with no next match in the coming 30 days leaves the list when a league is chosen. A match that has kicked off leaves the list at once. The count line always equals the rows listed: the whole list shows, with no Show more.
Yes. On a match page, Deep dive › Trends, each team fact shows before kick-off today's odds of that exact bet ("Won 7/10 @ 1.80", the bookmakers' middle price, the same number as the page's tables) or "No odds yet" (a clean sheet has none), and one line says when we read them. "All trends of this match" opens Trends › Teams › This match (Pro): every market the Trends count (result, goals, halves, corners, cards), for that match only, grouped by market with the strongest first, each with its odds or "No odds yet". The sort and "With odds only" change on the device, no reload. Without a match page: Trends › Teams › Pick a match lists every club match of the next 28 days like Matches (day bar, calendar, league row, search); a tap opens This match. A match far ahead has its trends already; its odds say "No odds yet" until the bookmakers price it. A past run is not a chance.
A trend row shows odds only when we read them in the last 24 hours, the same rule as Best price, and the row says when (" 12:03"). Bookmakers often give odds for a match only a few days before it, and our odds robot reads them three times a day: older odds could be far from today's, so they are left out and the row says "No odds yet". Filters on Trends apply at once: the count line always says how many rows are listed.
Yes, with Pro: Trends (main menu), Teams tab (team trends). It lists every club team of our leagues with "Over 2.5 goals in 8 of their last 10" and the like, most often first (60 % of the matches or more, never both sides of one bet), each with its next match. Pick the market (goals lines, both teams scored, won, clean sheet, corners, cards, and By half), the last 5, 10 or 20 matches, a league, or only teams playing in the next 3 days. Only finished matches count; By half counts only matches with a half-time score, and a team needs 5. Each row shows today's odds of the same bet for the next match ("@ 1.45") and one number, the sort's own (Trend v odds: the run against the odds, in points), or "No odds yet"; sort by Trend v odds, Edge, Hit rate, Kick-off or Odds. On a team page, Trends by half splits goals, corners and cards into the 1st and the 2nd half. The past, not a prediction: check the odds yourself. When our model is clearly below the odds, the row's number carries : a past run is not a chance; the odds and our model already count it. The Teams page and a league's Teams and Players tabs have a link to Trends; from a league it opens already set to that league.
Pro, during a match: the model's chance before kick-off, moved by the score and the time left. At kick-off it is the chance before the match; at the final whistle 100 % or 0 %. Goals still to come follow the same model as before the match (dc-poisson-v1), for the share of the match left, added time counted (about 7 minutes). Simple on purpose: it does not use red cards or shots yet. Nothing in extra time or penalties (a 1X2 bet is settled after 90 minutes), and nothing when there is no model (UEFA cups, national matches). It is analysis, not a reason to bet in play.
Pro, on a match page's Live tab. Momentum: each team's shots per 5 minutes (home up, away down, at the goals), from the running totals the live feed sends about once a minute; it shows who is pushing, not who will score. When the feed sends them, a switch Shots · Corners · Possession shows corners per 5 minutes and the share of the ball so far, and one line counts shots and corners in the last 10 minutes. Player ratings: API-Football's own 1–10 rating for every player who played, best first; – when he has none yet. Both stay after the final whistle. Entry sees the Pro card.
With Pro: Player trends. A player page says "2+ shots in 7 of his last 10" for every line he reached (Last 5 · 10 · 20); the players part of a match page ranks both teams' players for one stat and line; the Hit rates view of the Trends page's Players tab (the old Player screener) lists every player of the next 24 h or 3 days with 5+ matches in the window, high to low, with league, stat, line and window, and today's price when a bookmaker prices the line. Only matches he played count; a stat the feed did not send is –, never 0. "Against teams that allow many shots" counts his matches against teams in the top third of their league for shots conceded. When no match is in the next 24 h, the tab offers Try the next 3 days. Past numbers, not a promise: check the price yourself.
Yes, on My bets: Pause my betting tools for 24 hours or 7 days. "I took it", the builder save, the bet slip and pick alerts stop until the end; the server refuses a bet, not only the button. It cannot be undone before the end, so the app says so and asks you to confirm. Your bets still settle. Need more? Self-exclusion exists at every licensed operator, and help lines are on Responsible gambling.
With Pro: Price drops (menu More) lists today's and tomorrow's outcomes whose middle bookmaker price moved most since our first update (5 % or more, 3 bookmakers or more, before kick-off, no bookmaker names): the same opening and now as the match page. Filter by competition, market, day, drops or rises and minimum move; a row opens that price on the match page, and says "Price fell 2.40 → 2.05 after the line-ups" when our news explains the move. On a match page, Price moves adds the price history chart per market and, when a price moved 8 % or more within 2 hours after line-ups, team news or referee news, one line with the reason. The news always came before the move.
A Pro page in the More menu: start a group, send the invite code, and compare your own record from My bets with friends (units, ROI, number of bets, CLV) over 7 days, 30 days or all time. Only totals are shared, never your bets: nobody sees your matches, markets, selections or prices. Each member turns sharing on themselves, and can stop or leave the group any time.
Coming soon: My account will connect one AI assistant with your own login, read only. The old copyable key is switched off, because a key worked for anyone who had it (one account = one person).
Pro, on each pick card before kick-off: what this kind of price usually did between now and kick-off, learned from our stored prices of finished matches in the same league, market and side, at the same time before kick-off (0–3 h, 3–6 h, 6–12 h, 12–24 h, 24–48 h, 48 h or more). "Usually drops": the price mostly fell by kick-off, so taking it now has paid. "Usually rises": waiting has paid. We say it only when at least 100 matches back it AND at least 60 % of them moved the same way; otherwise no line. We count matches, not prices: one match with 25 bookmakers is one case. Tap the line for the number of matches, the median change and the share. Our prices start in September 2026, so for now most picks show no line: that is the honest answer. Past prices, not a forecast.
On a club league's Standings tab (Pro). The model plays the rest of the season 10,000 times with its team strengths, adds the scores to today's table and counts how often each team ends first, in the top 4 or in a relegation place. Tap a team for every place that matters in that league. It runs every Monday; the line under the table says when. These are estimates, not promises. UEFA cups and national teams have none.
One alert at 9:00 (Geneva time), only if you turn it on: Alert settings in the bell, Everyone, Morning brief. One line: when your favourite teams play today (kick-off times in Geneva time), your open bets on today's matches and the new model picks of the last 24 hours. It comes only when there is something to say, at most once a day. While your betting tools are paused, it leaves out the picks.
Saved bets (on until you turn it off: bell, Alert settings, You): for a match on your Saved list, one alert when its middle bookmaker price moves 5 % or more since our first read (the Price drops rule: 1X2, over/under 2.5 and both teams to score, 3 bookmakers or more), and one when its line-ups are out. If a key attacker your bet needs is not starting, the line-up alert says so: "Changed since the line-ups". At most one of each per match. Daily signals (Pro, off until you turn it on: bell, Alert settings, Smart alerts): at 10:00 Geneva time, up to 3 of today's matches of your favourite teams and leagues (with no favourites: every league) with a trend that stands out (the line of Favourites: in 80 % or more of the last 10 matches and rare for our leagues), the strongest first, its middle price and when we read it. Nothing strong, no alert. Past seasons: trends did not beat the price, so it is information, not advice. Quiet hours count for both.
A Pro line under Best price on a match page (and an alert if you switch it on in the bell): the best price we list is 2 % or more above the sharpest market's fair price, its prices with the margin taken out. It is not our model: it is the one signal that held in our 5-season test (about +3 %), and it needs fast action because prices move. Odds up to 6.00, prices from the last 2 hours, at least 2 bookmakers, one alert per match and outcome, at most 10 a day, none after kick-off. No bookmaker is named. Information, not advice.
On Picks, tap + Add to slip on the picks you like. The slip shows each price with the bookmaker's margin, the combined odds, how often a slip like this wins, and the total margin: it grows with each leg. Picks of the same match are one block: type the bookmaker's builder price for it. I took it saves the whole slip as one bet in My bets, settled leg by leg. The slip is saved on your account, so you can start on your phone and finish on your computer. Analysis only: you place the bet yourself.
Yes, it is one slip for the whole app: + Add on picks, on the prices of the match page (under the 1 · X · 2 tiles at the top, and in its tables), on a player's next-match lines and on the rows of Trends › Players that a bookmaker prices. Under the luck line you see your own bets with as many legs this month (for example "Your bets with 4+ legs this month: 3 bets · -12.00 u"). The bell on a leg sets a price alert (tell me when it reaches 2.00), Share slip sends a picture card with honest numbers and no bookmaker name, and Pro marks the weakest leg: the one with the biggest margin, with the margin without it. Its bar follows you on every page while it holds a leg.
Yes, for 5 seconds: the message "Removed · Undo" at the foot of the screen puts it back. A bet is only deleted when that message goes. To refresh a page now, pull down at its very top: Matches, Live, Picks, a match page, Favourites, News, My bets, Trends, Price drops.
Yes. Hold a finger on the match for about half a second (on a computer: right-click it): Follow this match, Alerts for this match and, before kick-off, Bet builder for this match. Tap the three odds of a row to see its odds, model chance, market and edge in place; tap again to close.
The All tab shows the last 10 together, as they were played. When they hold 2 competitions or more, a tab per competition shows that competition's own last 10, going back to older matches when needed, and Trends follow the same tab: a clean-sheet run in the league is not broken by a cup goal. The number on each tab is how many matches it shows.
Tap on a pick card, a slip line or a price on a match page. It goes to Saved, at the top of My bets, with the price at that moment, today's price beside it and the reason you saved it. Open it at the bookmaker's, then use + Add or I took it if you bet. At kick-off a save leaves the list: for 7 days the Past part shows the result it would have had, then it is deleted. Bets you took (I took it) stay in My bets.
From subscriptions only (the Entry and Pro plans). We take no bets, show no ads and get no money from bookmakers: no links to them, no affiliate deals. So we earn nothing when you lose. Bookmakers win when you lose. We don't.
Someone, probably you, joined the founder list on kickvalue.com/welcome with this address. Tap "Confirm my email" in it to stay on the list. Do nothing and we do not write again. We send at most one confirm email every 10 minutes, and the link works 7 days.
Tap Send feedback in the More menu, on Account or at the foot of any page. Choose What I like, Idea or improvement or Something is wrong, write a few words and Send. We read every message; you can send 5 a day. When we answer, or plan or build your idea, the bell tells you, and your messages with our answers stay at the bottom of the feedback page.
Only the ones the app needs: one to keep you logged in and a few for your settings (language, time zone, odds format, light or dark, a betting pause). No advertising, tracking or analytics cookie, so there is no consent banner to click. The privacy page lists each one with what it is for and how long it stays.
Tap the at the end of his row: in a team's squad, on Players, in a league's Players tab or in Search. It turns and he is saved at once; his matches come first and you get his alerts. The same works for teams, coaches and referees. Tap again to unfollow; Undo in the small message puts him back. On his own page, the by his name does the same.
The 2-leg builder of this match where the bookmakers keep the least: its two legs and the margin, the same as the first line of Smallest margin builders on the builder. A tap opens the builder with those legs. A smaller margin means the bookmaker takes less; it does not mean the builder wins more often.
Yes. On the match page every row of Model markets, Player probabilities and Best price has + Add and under it, before kick-off. A line no bookmaker prices yet says "No bookmaker price yet": + Add still puts it in your slip, as a builder line with the model chance and no price. Type your bookmaker's price in the slip (Odds at your bookmaker, or the builder price when it shares the slip with another line of the same match). needs a price, so it comes when bookmakers price the line.
Missing players on your bets (Pro): before the line-ups we show who is out or doubtful and how much he gives his team (goals + assists, or the first-choice keeper). We tested a chance change from the injury list on 4,206 past matches: it was not more accurate than our model alone, so we show the facts only. Once the line-ups are out, the line-up chance (tested, a little more accurate) takes over.
After the final whistle the match page adds a Game report: every line it said before kick-off (model picks with chance and price, the most likely score, the trends of both teams, the referee's cards against the league's, a key player out, the Pay attention lines, rest days, the head-to-head streak, the preview's first sentence) next to what happened, each with a mark: came true, missed, – nothing to judge. One summary line says how many we got right and the units on the model picks. Honest by design: a miss stays a miss, and one match proves nothing; the Record does.
Before kick-off, a small card under the score card sums up the match in up to 3 lines, only the ones that exist: the strongest trend of the two teams (80 % or more of their last matches) with today's middle price of that bet and when we read it, the model pick only when its box is not on the page (never on national matches), and the strongest Pay attention fact. Each line opens its section. Nothing stands out: no card. After the whistle the Game report says what happened to each line, or with the final number, losses included.
Being tested first, shown to everyone soon. While a match is played, the Match tab shows the 1 · X · 2 and the main goals line as bookmakers price them now, read every few minutes: one line for the median of the bookmakers (how many is said), one for the API-Football live feed, never mixed, with the time we read them. Live prices move fast and a market can close for a moment, so the price at your bookmaker may already be different. Analysis only: there is no live pick, and live prices never enter the Record.
Where the two teams look alike this season: goals scored and conceded a match, points a match, cards, corners, possession and shots. Only the numbers where they are close show (at most 0.3 goals apart, 4 points of possession, and so on: the ⓘ lists every step), each as "both around 1.4 goals a match (1.38 v 1.42)". From 4 matches each; nothing close = one line says so. Information about the match, not a tip.
Only for 72 hours after it is first settled, and never silently. Sometimes the data feed corrects a score, or corner, card or player numbers arrive late; then our robot corrects the result with its reason, and the database keeps the old one. The pick shows a small "corrected" mark: tap ⓘ for the date, the reason and the result before. After 72 hours the database refuses every change. A match postponed and played more than 72 hours later stays void, as at the bookmakers. If you took the pick in My bets and our robot settled your bet, your bet follows the correction; a result you set yourself never moves. Record numbers always use the result of today.
In the bell › Alert settings, switch on Quiet hours: no alert reaches your phone between 23:00 and 07:00 (you can change both hours), in your own time zone. The morning digest still comes. Alerts of those hours wait in the bell; nothing is lost.
At kick-off the leg shows "started". You cannot take the slip with a started leg: remove it () first, then I took it saves the rest as one bet. Saved lines () cannot be saved after kick-off either.
In its own tab, "Postponed · N", beside Next matches and Finished on Matches and on Favourites, on the day the match was due (shown only when that day has one), and in a "Postponed" fold on a league's Matches tab. It lists the matches postponed, cancelled or abandoned in the last 7 days that have no new date yet; they are out of Next, Finished, the day bar counts and your calendar link. When the data feed gives the new date, the match goes back to Next matches by itself, on its new day. A model pick on it is void (stake back), like at the bookmakers.
Each pick on the Record carries a stamp "Locked before kick-off: logged 12:03 · kick-off 15:00", in your time zone. The pick is saved with its odds and model chance at that moment, and from then on the database refuses any change or deletion, so nobody (us included) can edit a pick once the result is known. Losses stay next to the wins.
Our own tests on 5 past seasons: the model's picks lost about −10 %, strong trends about −7 %, and mixing them with missing players or line-ups showed no profit. What helped was the price: the same bets at the best price of many bookmakers lost far less than at the middle price, and one signal (a best price 2 % above the sharp bookmaker's fair price) made +3 % over 3,173 bets, which can still be luck. So: shop for the best price, stake small and flat, set a stop-loss, and judge yourself by CLV (My bets › Your edge check). Learn › Our honest rules › What really helps has the numbers.
Saved groups your lines by match day, soonest first; each line says when and where you saved it ("saved 2 h ago · from Trends") and your reason. From 11 lines, sort them (soonest match, biggest price move since you saved, best edge), filter them (competition, market, saved from) and see 10 at a time with "Show 10 more".
It compares your price with the closing price: the middle bookmaker price for that exact bet just before kick-off. "Beat the close: 1.95 v 1.88 (+3.7 %)" means you got a better price than the market's last word. Over a few bets wins and losses are mostly luck; beating the close often is the earliest honest sign that you bet at good prices, still no promise of profit. A builder or a combo has no single closing price, and a market no bookmaker priced shows "Close: –" with the reason in the ⓘ. My bets › Where you win and lose (Pro) adds your bets by market and league, worst first; under 30 bets a line says it can be luck.
Yes. kickvalue.com/welcome is open to everyone: what KickValue is, the locked record in one line of totals (the same numbers as the calibration page), three free lessons, the glossary and the monthly record reports. It also shows four things only we do, each with a real screen from the app, and the honest part. Your friend can join the founder list there (email, 18+ and consent); we write when places open. Apart from those pictures of real screens, nobody sees a match, pick or price before login.
A typical tipster shows the wins and quietly deletes the losses, sells a "sure win" and can change a pick after the match. Here every model pick is locked before kick-off and never edited (the database refuses any change), the losses stay on the record next to the wins, and there is no sure win: our own 5-season backtest found no edge, and we say so. The public record (calibration page) shows the totals, losses included.
Amilton, in Geneva, Switzerland: KickValue is a small independent project. No bookmaker owns it and we earn nothing when you lose. The About us page (in the footer and in More) says what KickValue is, what makes it different and where the data comes from. Write to us at hello@kickvalue.com.
A Pro line under each model pick: the model chance, the price's chance and the facts our data found (missing players, form, home goals). Tap it for the exact numbers. If the reason is thin, give the pick less weight.
Next to every result we show the chance we gave before kick-off. when it was our most likely outcome. It shows how often our 30 % things really happen; it is not a win or a loss.
They are legs of one match. Over 2.5 and both teams score win together much more often than two unrelated bets, so a bookmaker prices the pair lower than the two odds multiplied: check its price for both. Home win and away win, or Over 2.5 and Under 1.5, have no score in common: that bet cannot win, remove one. The ⓘ next to the warning gives the rule.
With Pro, yes: the model chance of the whole bet and its edge, legs of one match read together from one score grid. Entry shows the odds, the margin per leg and the luck line.
With Pro: on Picks, Record and My bets, Save this filter keeps the filters you chose under a name; one tap opens them again.
After 5 losses in a row, or -10 u or worse in 7 days, My bets shows one calm line and the lesson that fits: why runs happen, or a bankroll you can lose. It never blocks anything.
When you save 3 bets in a row, each bigger than the last, after 2 or more losses in 24 hours, one calm line shows on My bets. Open to everyone, never a paid feature.
